“ I actually really enjoyed the flavors and authenticity of this restaurant. As with most better Chinese restaurants, service and Proficient communication in English is not to be expected. The portion sizes on our combination meat and rice platter and chicken in black bean sauce was on the smaller side yet the flavor profiles and freshness was incredible. Water, chili oil and sliced spicy peppers were available in the back to help ourselves. Pricing wasn't too expensive but maybe we ordered the wrong items as they were small. Cute little establishment and would definitely recommend as options are a little limited in this category in the Hyde Park/Kensington area! ”
“ Stick and bowl is awesome. After a very long and tiring day of shopping - the best grub spot. Their prawns with black bean sauce on top of crispy noodles (upon request) is my favorite. I also really like their salt n pepper prawns , noodle dishes and mainly the fact that everything comes out piping hot. I wouldn't bring a party here - this is one of those local, quick, reliable grub spots. ”
